Outpatient Therapy

The outpatient program at Peterson provides services for patients of all ages who may have experienced a functional loss due to illness or injury and individuals recuperating after surgery. State-of-the-art equipment and the most current treatment approaches are fully utilized to maximize patient outcomes.

Timing is critical for successful outcomes. Successful rehabilitation starts with the onset of the disability. Each passing week or month results in greater fixation of the disability and reduces the opportunity for maximum restoration of physical, mental, social and economic functions.

Many of our patients require rehabilitative services for the following:

  • Joint Replacement Surgery
  • Post-Surgical conditions (Hip, Knee, Ankle, Shoulder, Elbow, and Wrist)
  • Work related injuries
  • Lower back, mid back, and neck pain
  • Sacro-iliac joint problems
  • Post motor vehicle accident trauma
  • Sports related injuries
  • Balance and coordination problems
  • General weakness or limited range of motion in arms, legs or trunk
  • Brain Injury
  • Stroke (CVA)
  • Amputation
  • Cervicogenic Headaches
